TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETING HELD IN ATHENS & SYROS, GREECE

From 26 to 30 May 2025, the partners of the European SACRED project met in Greece for a Transnational Project Meeting. In Athens (municipality of Paleo Faliro) and the island of Syros (Hermopoulis), the meeting focused on practical insights, good practice exchange, and collaborative work on the project results.
INSIGHTS FROM THE SACRED NEEDS ASSESSMENT

The SACRED needs assessment engaged 57 professionals, 34 students, and 31 older adults across all six pilot sites, each offering a unique lens on care delivery.
RESEARCH INSIGHTS FROM THE SACRED PROJECT

Interdisciplinary guidelines, methods, and interventions were collected across six European regions and selected for their relevance, effectiveness, and adaptability. They reflect a wide variety of promising approaches in areas such as psychosocial interventions, caregiver support, and dementia-friendly environments.

The objectives of the SACRED project will take center stage at the upcoming European Network of Social Authorities (ENSA) events, set to take place from March 3rd to 5th, 2025.

On December 10, the SACRED partner ANRIMAC, through PhD Dr. Angela Rita Martín Caballero, organised a meeting to illustrate the SACRED Project to the team of Medical Specialists of the S/C
Salamanca Mental Health Unit belonging to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital (HUNSC) and the Canary Islands University Hospital. (HUC) in Tenerife.
